MEMORIAL TRIBUTES

Memorial tributes have become extremely popular.  Here are four examples of tributes that may be included in a wedding ceremony:

• The bride may display a small floral wreath on a stand beside the altar as a tribute to her father who recently passed away.
• The couple may light a special candle in memory of a loved one.
• The bride or groom may carry or wear a memento that belonged to a loved one.
• The groom may include a written tribute to his grandfather in the ceremony program

The first three examples may also be explained in the ceremony program so that the guests realize the significance of the memorial tribute.
