Week 3 @ D1 Sports & Training

I have finished week 3 at D1 Sports & Training. Starting to notice that I have a lot more energy no more afternoon little siesta's for me. This week our trainers were Chris and Hailey. Mondays workout wasn't so bad I can tell my core is getting stronger which is a good thing. Wednesday's workout with Hailey was a lot of arms, squats, leg raises and running with 5 lb weights. The hardest of all was the squats up against the wall holding a medicine ball between my legs and sprinting after holding it for 30 seconds. Hailey gets right in there and does the workout with us which is great. I had to workout 2 days in a row because I was going out of town. I was a little sore when I got to D1 and even Hailey said she was still a little sore herself. Thursday workout was with Chris and of course his workout was tough but today I'm not as sore. Like they say the more you do it the better your muscles become and I have to say they I have to believe them sense they are personal trainers and know what they are talking about. :) Remember "No Pain, No Gain"! We did a lot of 10lb plate work which means squats, running with the plate, over the head raises and the ad work was great and can really feel a difference in my sides today.
